I would imagine that either way will be about the same expense.
(b) go with a single dish w/ multiple LNBs. I will have to get an FTA receiver and either: (2) So that leaves me with Hotbird (13E), Sirius2 (4.8E) and Amos2 (4W) to cover. (1) I'll keep the Sky DISH (at 28.2E) with its triple LNB feeding my SKY+ and 2'nd Sky boxes separate since that bird appears to be farthest off the beaten path of my other interests. I've pretty much narrowed down my options. and how much money am I talking about here?
How do you combine feeds from different satellites to a single receiver?įinally, where is a good place to GET the Dish, FTA receiver, the requisite number of LNBs, switches - if necessary - and the tech support to install same in the Northwest London area?. Is there a single dish that can cover all four birds?ġ feed on Hotbird 13E to my AFN receiver Īt least 2 feeds - from Amos 2 (4W) and Sirius 2 (4.8E) to a third FTA receiver - and could it further ALSO provide feeds from the 28.2E and 13E birds to this receiver to cover additional FTA. I desire to capture some FTA broadcasts from Ukraine off Amos 2 (4W) and Sirius 2 (4.8E) and am considering a third dish to cover these two satellites and an FTA receiver.
I have a PowerVu/AFN receiver on a single feed off of a second dish on Hotbird at 13E. I currently have Sky+ & Sky on a triple LNB off one dish at the Sky bird at 28.2E.
